Just got my insurance invoice with the XSR added. Though motorcycles aren't required to be covered, I have over double the state required minimum coverage for automobiles, 'cause I like to play it safe 
The CB is extremely reasonable to insure, and with $250.00 deductibles, less than $200 a year.
The XSR, 3X as much! Still not, IMO, an obscene number, but certainly higher than I was expecting to insure a 67 year old with a primo driving record. Even more interesting, the XSR costs less that the CB did. Anyway, not really complaining, still worth every penny
