Yeah it's something like 400 miles to the tank. The problem is that the KLR isn't a Kawasaki engine anymore ... It's a HDT - which is Hayes Diversified Tech.. The main deal is that due to all the reworking, it was around 17K new.. So if they do appear on a military site - it's around 10K for something with some miles..
It's also my understanding that HDT got out of the military bike market and only does R&D... You can get a new KLR body style that is a diesel .. I will have to look up the company, but it's like 15k new....
