Great news! Glad it wasn't something more..."European-ly priced". 
I had a '95 Ducati 900SS/CR. Really wanted a 916, but having a young family put that out of reach. Surprise Christmas present from my late wife. Doubly dear to me due to that. Had it until about a year ago when I finally gave in to the fact that I just couldn't get comfortable on it anymore, and it was too wonderful a machine to just languish in my garage.
Loved that bike. Never even hiccupped, but for a leaky hydraulic clutch line that I had to bleed every few weeks up toward the end of our "relationship".
