My son was over for dinner tonight. I was telling him about your issue being 45 miles from home and said I told you about his 50 mile rule. He said I misunderstood him about the 50 miles... that was round trip, and if you had followed that recommendation you'd have been home with 5 miles to spare lol.
He actually said it hasn't been giving him any grief lately and he will turn over 10,000 miles pretty soon, although he still sticks close to home when riding it.
