Broken down on Kenosha Pass

I don't really get the point of an immobilizer on bikes. I mean realistically, if someone wants the bike, but cant start it, you just need a few big guys and a pickup truck or van to pick it up and haul it away in about 2 minutes. It's good for target of opportunity type stuff, but other than that I'd rather do without it (and the possibility of it failing) and just have a normal ignition and my own theft precautions.
