Took advantage of Victory demo days today.
Rode the full touring http://www.victorymotorcycles.com/en-us/...loss-black
And the semi touring http://www.victorymotorcycles.com/en-us/...ntry-black with the 18 inch front wheel, vance hines exhaust, power commander chip.
Both were nice motorcycles. The full fairing touring totally blocked the wind. I could ride with my modular helmet up without any problem.
They semi touring with mods was definitely more responsive and sounded good, but the wind noise and buffeting was just as bad as experienced on the naked CB1100.
One thing that amazed me, the 5000 rpm red line. 4000 rpm seemed to be the start of the sweet spot...it was very easy to over rev it. The sweet spot on the CB1100 seems to be 4000-5000 rpm, no where near the red line.
Compared the the handling of the CB1100 was no comparison.....the CB1100 is so responsive when compared to cruiser style, it just re-enforced my confidence I chose the right motorcycle!
