I rode my XSR around 1200 miles in comfort the first few days I had it. I'm still piling on the miles. To me, it's a sport bike, a techno/retro machine. It handles razor sharp, wheelies at will in any mode (best to switch TC off though!) and tours well, just throwing a barrel bag on the back of the seat.
Interestingly, I rode the CB the same route, the same distance, in the same 3 day timeframe. With a barrel bag on the back!
I prefer upright bikes. I don't care for windscreens, top boxes and hard bags! That said, I love both bikes, either could be my one and only, but I'm glad I can have both
