Quite a few AT's getting around here now and I'm curious if the novelty of the DCT wears off.

I do not have any experience with the Transalp. I was 7 when that bike was sold in the US, so 28 years on, they are rare as hen's teeth. I'd love to try one.

I don't consider the DCT a novelty anymore. When Honda introduced it on their NC and CTX, I figured they were swinging at the beginner rider market after a somewhat lackluster reception on their VFR1200. I was surprised to learn it would ve used on the Africa Twin when that news broke. Riding was believing for me. I'm not saying I won't ever buy another manual motorcycle, but I am better it will have a quick shifter when I do.
