I figured people would disagree with my assessment. It's all boils down to rider. I'm certain there are guys on Goldwings who could out-maneuver me on any SS. Not only is my ability lacking, but something about how I fit on a CB doesn't lend well to me being able to transfer the bikes weight consistently. Probably has a lot to do with the roads out here not being great too. Any bounce or hiccup in the pavement and I can feel the suspension give way under me. I wish someone in the Houston area would offer to let me ride their VFR
The only one I've found locally is at the Honda dealer I bought my CB from and I won't return there due to a really poor experience.
All things considered the CB is a good bike and I will defend that as long as I can. As you said, it does great for being a steel-tube, air-cooled retro standard. I'm just conflicted in trying to decide if it's the best bike for me. It may be, but... it may not be. I have a personality defect that makes me think I can always find a better bike or car haha I've been wrong several times though...
