I feel like there were only two bikes I ever had that were "sport bikes" but the lack of waves from the Harley guys would say otherwise on my other bikes. My first street bike ever was a 1989 Kawasaki ZX7. The aluminum intake tubes were the big thing that got mentioned on that bike a lot. I had it back in the early 90's and the only pictures I have are actual photographs but here's a great example pic of the bike, it was black like this one:



The next bike to qualify as a sport bike for me was around 8 years later -- a 2000 Suzuki TL1000R. This bike was a LOT of fun and my first taste of "sport V-Twins" and put me on a V-Twin kick that lasted for about 15 years! It was ugly as all get out but a lot of fun to ride. It was right around the time of the emergence of the Yamaha R1 so it was fast, "but not R1 fast":


After the TLR came a supermoto and then more V-twin sports. First was the Husky 570 SuperMoto which was a convert from a TE:


Then the 2005 Ducati Monster 1000 i.e.


Then the 2008 KTM Superduke:


I feel like so many of these bikes were standards and not "sport bikes" (full fairings) but that's just me.

Don't even ask me to go through all of the offroad bikes I have had in that same time. I wouldn't even be able to enumerate them all if I tried!
