No engine guards on the CB1100 for me.
I've been trying to reduce it's weight from day 1, so much so that I went out and lost 13kg myself. Adding another 5kg in pipes and bolts seems counterproductive.
Also for me the CB1100 is a pure street bike so even when I drop it the engine cases are more likely to scratch than to crack, and as we learnt in a different thread - I don't care about scratches,
