My first bike was a 2003 Nighthawk 750,

didn't want to let her go but I was ready for something quicker... was trying to sell her to get a 2005 CB900F with almost 30,000 miles. Since I had an out of state title and wanted to avoid the hassle of getting a California title, I went to the dealership to see how much I would get for a trade-in towards the CB1100... and here I am now
Anyways, I love the CB11
no more choke
working tachs
more power
I wanna say the CB11 is easier for me to ride as well.
I can't wait to take my old lady for a ride to see how the CB11 handles
Anybody else have/had a Nighthawk 750???
Yes, in fact I owned 2 red CB Seven Fifty's (F2), the EU version (1992 and 1993, one to drive, the other for parts).
Within not even 4 years I drove nearly 100K kms on this great bike, but always felt it lacked a little more power, a little better handling, ... anything I have now found on my CB1100 EX (2014 EU model).
There are only 2 things I miss from my CB750: being able to ride with Michelin PR4 tyres (when you do a lot of kms, on various roads, in various weather conditions, this is the tyre you need), and .... the wider tank opening
- I'm always spilling, when I need to refill.Indeed, I also truly think that moving over to CB1100 EX is just a very natural transit if you first started off on the CB750 from the nineties (my first months without the proper licence was on a Honda CM125 Custom, also fun to ride!).
Safe travels/drives everyone!
All best from Belgium!
