And I really want to like the Bandit. But, when I look at it, I just think "budget." When I look at the CB1300, I think, "Refined." The Honda just seems more intentional--more put together. The fairing on the Bandit seems like an afterthought.
The closest thing to the CB1300 sold recently in the U.S. I would think would be the Suzuki Bandit 1250S, would it not?
Maybe it's because I've always been a Honda guy. My first motorcycle was a CB100 (a gold one, even) I bought from my cousin. Then it was an XR200. Then a V65 (don't miss the carb work on that beast at all.) Now the CB1100 and a CRF for trails. I've ridden other bikes. I just really like Hondas
Although that new Kawasaki KLX250 looks really tempting...
