I was looking for a used Ural rig when I got a smoking deal on a sidecar for my '03 Night Train ($3800 with the reverse gear installed in my trans).
The longest ride I've done with my rig is 400km (250 miles), I'm not sure I would want to go much farther than that. It's mostly for short rides with my daughter.
The sidecar draws more attention than the CB, everybody loves it. When the time comes that I can no longer hold up a motorcycle hopefully I can still use my rig.
