Further developments: The wife and I plan to move to TX as soon as possible, which will probably be at least six months to a year away. Will take that long to sift thru all the wife's belongings that fill up every room and closet and garage of this too-big house. Anyhoo, I've been pondering the bike situation. Take them both, take only one? I was thinking only one for a while, then I saw a listing for a Triumph Tiger 800,(dang that craigslist!) a do-it-all mount that would work well in TX. 95hp/58lb.ft. Gonna see if I can get a local test ride.
