I really, really liked that Ninja 1000 I rode at Daytona. Its just what the review said; and all-day high performance sportbike. I liked it so much I got a quote for insurance on one.
The CB costs $299 for full coverage with a $500 deductible. That's with no tickets, 50 y/o, etc. The Ninja quote was just under 2,800! Literally ten times as much. In fact, the monthly insurance payment would be very close to the bike payment if I went that route. Is this a South Florida aberration, or is it typical in other markets as well?
