I see that the new Diavel has stopped using a belt final drive and uses a chain, like the rest of their bikes. This is a huge negative to me, though perhaps the power of the new bikes was too much for a belt drive. Belt drives are light, clean (no lubrication) and almost never require adjustment. Chain drives are much higher maintenance, and that is a particular pain in the neck on a bike with no centerstand. I have a Pit Bull single side swingarm rear stand I use to adjust the chain on my Ducati. It's not a big deal at home, but a chain driven bike with no centerstand is a real hassle on a trip.
