But seriously, this diamond studded throwback stuff gets a little old. If a maker that's been in business without interruption wants to bring out a freshened version of one of their classics (Mustang, Beetle and, say, CB) that's okay.
This is different. Just buy an ancient name and throw a classic nameplate on a bike with a Goldwing front end, a turbo-d V-twin with a Kawasaki swingarm, wrap it in some carbon fiber and throw a $120k price tag on it and the press will moisten their pants.
