I'm so lucky I didn't see that ad. I'd be so tempted!!! But tuneups are a royal PITA and four carbs. I"ll pass (logic speaking - who uses logic with motorcycles?! ) Now I'll rush off to Craigslist to see if it's still there.

I think it disappeared pretty quickly.

I've had great luck with the carbs on my CB750 25 years and 52K miles and I've never had to touch them. That's probably because I've never let the bike sit long enough to gum up the fuel system. The problem I had with buying old used bikes is that they usually sat for a long time and ended up having issues related to that period of dormancy. Mostly seals and rubber parts kept me constantly busy.
