Congrats on the Miata! As a former S2000 owner myself, I've always had a soft spot for the Miata.
I too highly recommend the Shin-etsu grease and Raggtopp convertible top cleaner and treatment. I had my S2000 for 12 years and the top still beaded up when I washed it. The right care and your top will be in pristine shape for years to come. I also used leatherique on the seats.
I had a New Formula Red AP2 model, purchased brand new in Jan 2004 with 3 miles on the odometer. After I started riding motorcycles, I drove the S2000 less and less, and eventually traded it in on a Tacoma. But I will always love that car! And yes, I do miss it.
