My first car was an old Ford Pinto that my brother sold me for a dollar. The seats had 2x4s under them to keep them from going through the rusty floor. One frigid winter night while driving Penny home from a date the heater failed. The next day I was told "Get a new car, or get a new girlfriend." Didn't take me long to show up with that Mercury Monarch.
