I think it depends on how you intend to use the bike. I no longer own either of my two V7's. In their place is my 2014 CB1100 DLX. The Guzzi's were quite endearing motorcycles (some of my all-time favorites, in fact), with plenty of power for how I was riding them, superb handling, and a lot more "character" than my CB, but at the end of the day, I think the Honda is a superior motorcycle in terms of build quality and on-the-road riding satisfaction. That being said, I have been seduced by the new V7 III line-up and may find myself adding one to my stable. Coming off a ZX14R, if you're concerned about power, both the Honda and the Guzzi (especially the Guzzi, with its 40 hp) could leave you dissatisfied.
