Emullick, the ZX 9R was considered by many to be the best, most comfortable, most streetable "liter bike" when it arrived on our shores. I never had the opportunity to ride one but always held it in high regard. Former Duc and Guzzi owner here, too.
Thanks, Eric. Heading your way Feb 28, weather permitting.
I70 to Denver to see daughter #2 and her daughter, then down to Colorado Springs to see grandson, his wife and daughter before the Army moves them to Georgia. Probably go home via Albuquerque.
Again, weather permitting, should make it to Parachute or thereabouts by that evening. Last time we went by the Evergreen turnoff it was 0 dark thirty, heading west, expecting a storm to hit, last April.
Will be taking the 4WD, although my new 1591 cc 6 speed is more fun and much better fuel economy. http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread....#pid228689
2 more weeks until blood work, so I am being good on my diet...most of the time. Had 6 grandkids with me yesterday, the 31st and went by a Baskin & Robbins...under $12 for 7 cones.
