I understand exactly what Scotty is saying. I too own a 2014 CB1100 Deluxe, and two VFR800s (1998 and 2002), and I often ride the exact same roads Scotty does. The VFR just wants to be ridden at a quicker pace, and the CB1100 just feels better at a more relaxed pace. Both rides are fun. Scotty will like the VFR fairing not only for keeping the cold air off you, but blocking the wind during those 80 mph rides.
