We tend to do that here often especially because there are a lot of bikes around with no papers, so put any plate on and ride, only danger is if you get into an accident with another vehicle or pedestrian because police doesn't stop people here and even if they do you can just drive off or rode off, police is not allowed to enter into a pursuit for risk of endangering public safety, take the plate number and send you a ticket or call you to a station.
