New CB1000R get tank dented day one.

I sold the Africa Twin four weeks ago then last Friday purchased a new CB1000R. More horsepower than I can say grace over, but otherwise it fits the bill. I drive to Petersburg West Virginia to buy it. The dealer has this younger dude to load the bike into the U-haul trailer. This same dude has me purchase a handlebar harness. He puts the harness on the handlebars and then runs the ratchet straps down the outside of the trailer. The hooks on the ratchet straps are hooked to the bottom of the trailer. On the way home I hit one of many bumps in the road and sure enough the bike falls over. The damage is done. I then use only the ratchet straps, and put them over the forks with the hooks inserted into the D-rings on the trailer floor. Then, the three hour drive home proceeds without incident.
