I used to drive a truck, and where some of the more complicated parts of the highways converge, sometimes rigs find themselves in the left lanes unless they make a conscious effort to move over. There were few times where I'd glance in my right mirror, and see a Highway Patrol car behind me to the right, giving me room and flashing his lights to give me a gentle... ahem.. reminder to move a lane over.
