I offered to teach my 2 oldest Grandsons to ride a motorcycle. They're 12 and 16. The oldest didn't seem too interested, but the 12 year old jumped at it. I figured I'd get him a small dirt bike, 150 or 250 cc. I showed him how to get on craigslist, and find what he likes. Well, he did. He informed me he wants a Honda Rebel 500.
He is very coordinated, rides a bicycle very well, and is taking an interest in martial arts, so i'm sure he will be a good rider, but I don't want him to start on a 500cc bike. Honda makes a Rebel 250, so I may try to steer him toward that. The other day I took him out in my wife's car for a driving lesson and he did very well in a big parking lot.
