Tev, I wish I had some words to comfort you, but each of us must face this in our own way both in our own lives and the lives of those we love. I do wish you and your brother long and fulfilling life.
I sold a K1300GT a year ago and it was a BEAST! I can't imagine riding a 1600. It was the most beautiful and responsive bike I have ever swung a leg over and I loved it, but at 81 years, I felt I was pushing my luck, so I passed it on to a younger, probably more responsible rider.
