Thank you for the congratulations, gentlemen. My hubris was just tarnished slightly when I went on the DMV website to calculate the tax and license fees. When the rain lets up, I'll walk down to the AAA office and transfer the title. California takes a big wet bite, but it would be more on a new bike, so I can console myself with that knowledge.
Ollie, I agree on the smaller bag being more attractive on a classic bike. But, practicality dictates that I use something larger. Particularly when I commute to the museum, I'm carrying a uniform, shoes, lunch, etc. And, there's the inevitable requests from Mrs. G... "Hey, can you stop on the way home and pick up...".
What's funny is that my office is next door to Nelson Rigg. They're great neighbors, and I'm sure they'd give me a tank or tail bag if I asked them nice enough. I feel a bit sheepish passing their office with my Givi trunk in the morning...
