I fully understand your commitment to the Z-1. When I got my KZ750, I was new to riding (but not motorcycles) and it seemed like everyone had a Honda 750. When I saw that red KZ750, I knew I'd found my bike. And, it was $950 new, out the door in 1977. How times have changed. Of course, $12,000 a year salary was pretty fine money and a nice, new family home in San Antonio, TX, then was about $45-50K. Inflation, my friends.
