That looks like some of the bikes Mrs. G was sending me pictures of on her recent trip to Europe. Attractive, Chinese-built scrambler/cafe/Triumph clones that she found really neat looking.
I think these new Triumphs look cool. Perhaps the oddly proportioned tanks and handlebars are there to make them rideable for normal adults. If the whole bike was just a scaled-down large Triumph, it would probably have some weird ergos.
I can see a scheme developing here...
-Get Mrs. G all ginned up on riding again
-Show her this neat, cheap, approachable little Triumph
-Buy one
-I now have a fourth bike
-Wait till she never rides it
-Try freeway commuting on it, find it too small and slow
-Trade it for a Guzzi V7
The process would take a full year and a half, but in the end, I eventually get my V7, and don't have to sell any of my current bikes to get it.
