I found this to be helpful - it's a tire cleaner spray, not a dressing.
I find it handy for cleaning the sidewalls when they get that brownish look to them, but mainly for removing grease and chain wax splatter from my rear tires after lubing them. I also give them a wipedown with this stuff when they're new and have that slick feeling.
