It's fun to read all these comments...makes me feel that I'm more normal than I thought I was regarding bike purchases.

There's a good deal of sound input regarding the less expensive, black one.

But then I go back to Mr. P's original post:

I did it. I thought about it carefully and today I snapped up the deposit on the one and only Thruxton FE that will ship to Charleston. That's right....this dealer is getting exactly ONE. And it's going to be mine... I've never owned a bike this nice and it's fully double the cost of the most expensive motorcycle I've ever bought.

I don't think the CB is going to go away because it costs me nothing to own and gains me almost nothing in trade, but hooooo boy don't blame me if I show up to next year's rally in green....
