Yea M but there's two different factors here. were any of those bikes basically the Apex of your motorcycling career? Were any of the bikes you set out to get about to become unavailable as new showroom bikes? This is, in all likelihood, the best bike I will ever buy. Passing on it and buying something different could mean missing my chance to own a bike (from zero miles) I've dreamed of owning for almost 20 years. It'd be different if the Thruxton weren't being deleted from the triumph website next year but they've really put me in a do or die scenario. It's now or never. That's whats different about this. The regret wouldn't come from buying a different, equally good bike, it would come from not having had this bike when it was at it's very best.
I've been in the same scenario as the one you mentioned many times. Heck, my CB was the same deal. I went looking for a BMW and ended up with the CB, which is a bike I'll never let go of. This not just a new bike though. I don't need a new bike tbh. It's **this one** and the last chance to take advantage of it without compromise.
