It just goes to show you can never tell from the outside what something will be like. I suspect it still looks the same, but is a whole lot better after a session with the techs. I can see why BMW would put a desiccant in the brake master cylinder between factory and sale — although you’d hope a sealed system wouldn’t need it — but I can see why they’d use on that would disintegrate and imperil a rider given it’s almost inevitable a dealer sometime somewhere will skimp on the setup chores and miss it.
