I have a question for you guys that bought your CBs new. When you got your bike new was the oil level correct in the window? The reason I ask is because I bought mine with a little over 1K on it and the dealership said they did the 600 mile service on it. Naturally, I figured that was a lie.
Long story short, this motorcycle was traded in with a little over 500 miles on it and the dealership owners grandson put another 500 plus on it and I can confirm this. The oil level window is totally full which makes me think maybe they did change the oil after all and got it slightly overfilled. I am just curious when they are new if the oil level falls between the upper and lower level in the window.
