Not to go off on an oil thread, but oil in the crankcase will accumulate some water if stored for the winter in climates where there are many freeze and thaw cycles while the bike is stored. I'm sure there's nothing like that in Louisiana, and as hot as our oil gets I'd think any water would be boiled off on a longish ride.

Jeez. Was that bike misplaced in storage somewhere or are they really selling that poorly? Or are a years worth of bikes all built around the same time and sent to a warehouse?

From another thread I read they come from the factory with oil. However, with this time interval, should I change the oil now? Only put 45 miles on it.
And I assume with reg Dino oil and not syn, assuming if the answer is yes.
