How To do your own 600 mile service

Last month bought a new 13 model, that the dealer still has in a crate. The build date was 3/13, so been sitting for almost a year and a half.

From another thread I read they come from the factory with oil. However, with this time interval, should I change the oil now? Only put 45 miles on it.

And I assume with reg Dino oil and not syn, assuming if the answer is yes.

I don't see why. The reason for changing the oil is that it's either dirty or worn out (usually both). If the bike was in the crate all that time, neither should apply.
