Not a problem. Funnily enough if a bike has a few miles on it record keeping, while reassuring, runs second to a thorough mechanical inspection. After 40000m of care it's condition often speaks for itself. If it's been treated badly, or has a major problem, it can be hard to hide. It's a new one that still has the glow of youth, but had a real thrashing, that can be hard to assess. It's "newness" can be diverting. Anyway that's been my experience.
Cheers
