'Character' or rough?

I seem to recall someone on this forum replaced the intake cam with an exhaust cam and that smoothed out the "roughness" for him.

Different people are more, or less, sensitive to vibration. Personally I don't mind it, and sometimes it is a lot of fun. I once rode my buddy's Harley Softail Springer and the vibration was an absolute blast!

And way way back in my early twenties I had a single cylinder Ducati that, in a 2 hour ride, would literally vibrate the crap out of you.
