I never said don't bring it. Just another item that you need to hopefully not forget, and find space for on a bike already without storage. (Bonnie) And remember to use it on one of your gas stops on a 300+ mile day or a few times on a 750 mile weekend ride. Just saying the 175 mile stated lube interval is stupid.

Any chance the Bonnie came with a standard chain instead of an O-ring? That would be hard to imagine these days, but you never know what a manufacturer might do to save a few bucks. The 175 mi. lube interval would be appropriate for a standard chain. (and I agree, it would be ridiculous for an O-ring.)
