Thanks, M. Most likely, we'd be looking at a scooter or something like an older Super Cub-type bike. Her job is settling down to a commute not far from home that doesn't require freeways. So, she could start out on something that's small and gain some confidence and street skills, and graduate to riding to work if she wanted to. Whatever it is, it will be cheap and small.
She knows my bikes are my babies, and I doubt she'd even hint about wanting to learn on them
My "garage full of motorcycles" comment sorta meant that she looks at them all the time, has to move them out of the way when I fall asleep half-way through a project and block her gardening area or the car, and I've caught her sitting on them a few times.
