Sidestand down.
Get off bike.
Put bike on center stand.
Open visor to remove sunglasses.
Remove sunglasses and place the precariously on the handlebars/instrument panel.
Reach for wallet.
Remember that I cannot reach wallet with glove on.
Remove right glove.
Remove wallet.
Slide card.
See attendant because wife just slid her card at the pump next to me.
Return to bike and select 87 octane unless there's a higher octane that's enthynol-free available.
Fill tank. Top off to bottom of the neck.
Return nozzel to hook. Close tank and return key to ignition.
Take receipt.
Return wallet to pocket.
Don right glove.
Return bike to sidestand.
Mount bike.
Realize that sunglasses fell off bike when returning it to the sidestand.
Dismount.
Reclaim sunglasses and return to face.
Reset Trip A.
Start bike.
Put bike in gear and engage clutch.
Remember that sidestand is still down.
Kick up sidestand.
Restart engine, engage clutch, get in line with fellow riders who have been waiting for me.
Ride off.
