If there is head shake, have the dealer check that the steering head bearings are torqued correctly.
Personally I think the OP was just in dirty air. STs are noted for dancing in dirty air, but I didn't have that happen. Don't know why.
Honda can mess things up. Mine had 2 messed up things: A lot of air in the rear brake system, and I can't remember #2, but I fixed it as it was minor. Some have had problems with the clutch switch connectors not being fitted on tightly and causing problems.
