Motorcycle Coolant Question

I have always used the Honda brand motorcycle coolant in all my liquid cooled bikes. A bit more costly than Prestone at Wally World but you're only using a small amount in a bike. I read a technical paper on coolants for motorcycles years ago that emphasized the importance of using a motorcycle specific coolant because of silicate content in automotive type.
