Teams are now required to use a "breakaway" bolt so the wings won't slice through anything, they'll snap off.

D. Petrucci's bike has already lost the right wing in Philip Island FP1, it seems to be yawing to the left...jk!

One of the commentators stated the breakaway bolt contributes to the flapping.

Have a looksee at Dovizioso's bike; the winglets look like they were taken from Gerry Anderson's "Thunderbirds" design table. Just wild.

They're all gone next year.
