Great article. I read it a couple of weeks ago. I meant to post it, so thanks for doing so.
One thing that I noticed, though, was that most of the bikes mentioned are several years old; makes me wonder if newer bikes and their related parts are more ethanol-forgiving. I have had no problem to date with the 10% ethanol I pretty much have to use here, but I think I may start using the fuel stabilizer recommended as it seems like it would solve most of the potential problems without any real downside risk. If I do that, then wouldn't some of the more draconian fixes like swapping hoses be unnecessary?
