There is no HISS in the US so they don’t have that problem. The other thing about HISS as I recall is that there’s a limit to the number of keys you can program before you have to replace the whole ignition module.
The programming can be done at home, but you might want to check with one of the Forum’s electrical maestros about whether what works on the VFR would work on the CB.
