misfire under light load?
#2
(04-24-2018, 06:47 PM)max_imp Wrote: Although i have not seen the bike ( 2014 cb1100 ) in question it apparently adopted this misfire under light load ( driving sedately ).

is it possible that one or both cams are out by some teeth?

All i know is the bike apparently has had it's first service ( valves etc ) done recently.

So before i go and have a look i was wondering if anyone had a similar experience on any type of bike with this symptom.

Thanks max.

Missfire at low load is usually related to the lambda probes giving wrong data to the ECU.
However, I'd check spark plugs first, as it is cheaper Smile

Wrong timing on cams would be too evident to just cause a missfire at low load.
